Peoples Church (Ashburnham, MA) – Pastor
The Church Founded in 1890 and located in a rural north central Massachusetts community, we are a congregation of believers who rely on the Bible as our primary source of guidance. We are affiliated with the Conservative Congregational Christian Conference (4 C’s). Our congregation is a family of approximately 80 Christians.
Our mission is to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ, all to God’s glory,(Matt 22:37-38; Matt 28:19; Isa 43:7). We aspire to welcome, support and encourage all in their walk in faith.

Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to our congregation.
Nurture a loving and supportive church family.
Deliver engaging and biblically sound sermons.
Offer compassionate pastoral care to individuals and families.
Inspire us to deepen our faith and live out God’s love in our daily lives.
Work collaboratively with church leadership and members.
Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Leading worship service.
Ministering to the needs of the church.
Providing pastoral care, including visitation, counseling, and spiritual guidance.
Overseeing the spiritual growth and discipleship of the congregation.
Working with the Elders and other committees to enrich the life of the church.
Officiating at wedding and funerals.
Engaging with the local community and representing the church in community events.
Qualifications
Must abide by Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9.
A deep and abiding faith in Jesus Christ.
A passion for preaching, teaching, and pastoral care.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A heart for serving others and building a strong church community.
Preferably not less than an undergraduate degree from an accredited college, university or Bible college or equivalent experience.
Preferably at least five (5) years of pastoral experience.
Compensation Total Package: $70,000 plus $2,000 Sign on Bonus
