
The Outside Sales Specialist (Outreach Specialist) plays a vital role in expanding access to life-changing healthcare services for vulnerable seniors. This position serves as a key driver of enrollment success by building meaningful community relationships, generating qualified referrals, and guiding prospective patients and their families through the enrollment process.
This is not a traditional “hard sell” sales role. Instead, it is mission-driven outreach focused on connection, education, and trust-building. Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate and initiate outreach and community engagement activities
Identify opportunities to collaborate with community organizations to generate qualified leads and support enrollment growth
Establish and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and partners, including senior centers, assisted living facilities, food banks, churches, and other community-based organizations
Develop and implement monthly marketing plans in collaboration with the Marketing, Outreach & Enrollment Director to consistently achieve enrollment goals
Provide education to community referral sources regarding available healthcare services
Represent the organization professionally at events, networking functions, and outreach activities
Guide prospective patients and caregivers through the enrollment process
Track outreach activities and referral sources using CRM systems and technology platforms
Consistently meet or exceed monthly enrollment performance metrics
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Fluency in Spanish (required)
DHCS training and exam certification as a marketing representative within 30 days of hire
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in sales and marketing
At least one (1) year of experience in healthcare or senior care setting preferred
Outside sales experience preferredTechnology proficiency, including CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Athena, or similar systems
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with a team
Valid authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
Experience working within the local service area
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic marketing plans
Established network within senior-serving community organizations
Base Salary: $75,000 annually
Uncapped commission structure
Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and performance-based incentives
Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance coverage
