Job Description EarthCam is seeking a Collections Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable, reducing past‑due balances, and maintaining positive client relationships while ensuring timely payments.
The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, professional, and confident communicating with clients to resolve billing issues while protecting company cash flow.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the collections process for assigned accounts
Contact clients via phone, email, and written communication to follow up on past‑due invoices
Negotiate payment plans and settlements when appropriate
Research and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal departments
Update customer records and document communications in the CRM/ERP system
Generate aging reports and monitor account status
Escalate high‑risk or delinquent accounts to management as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
Requirements Who You Are
Organized and highly detail‑oriented
Comfortable having professional payment‑related conversations
Able to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
Strong problem‑solver with sound judgment
Self‑motivated and able to work independently
Professional, composed, and solution‑focused
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit control (B2B experience preferred)
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
Ability to analyze aging reports and financial data
High level of professionalism and discretion
