Automotive Parts Consultant
As an Automotive Parts Consultant, you will provide exceptional service to both retail and installer customers. This role also involves supporting store management in various tasks. We welcome bilingual candidates to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
Promote and adhere to all company customer service initiatives.
Warmly greet walk-in customers and assist them in selecting the right merchandise.
Support managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
Complete all required company training pertinent to your role.
Deliver excellent service to customers over the phone, answering queries, providing price quotes, and recommending additional products in line with our Low-Price Guarantee.
Maintain and secure the cash drawer, processing cash, checks, and credit card transactions accurately.
Handle exchanges and returns graciously, following company policies.
Address customer complaints positively and find resolutions.
Assist with daily tasks including inventory management, stocking shelves, and maintaining store presentation.
Operate store test equipment after completing necessary training.
Provide in-store services for customers, ensuring compliance with state and local laws.
When required, drive a delivery vehicle, ensuring adherence to company driving eligibility requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Exceptional customer service skills, providing friendly and professional assistance.
Able to multitask effectively, handling customers both in-store and on the phone simultaneously.
Preferred:
Knowledge of automotive parts, cataloging, and sales or service.
ASE certification is a plus.
Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
