Key Responsibilities:
Carefully review initial loan approvals and collaborate with borrowers to gather the necessary documentation.
Collect and organize all required documentation for the loan package efficiently.
Create comprehensive loan submission packages for the Underwriting department.
Submit all files to the designated Underwriter in a timely manner.
Address and satisfy all conditions as they are received from the Underwriter.
Maintain open communication with various professionals, including attorneys, county clerks, and title companies.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience processing residential mortgage loans across various programs (FHA, VA, Conventional, Purchase, Refinance), ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Proficient in using in-house technical systems and software, such as Encompass.
Strong understanding of underwriting policies, compliance, and procedures.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and analytical abilities.
