Position

CI Azumano is seeking a Part-Time Travel Advisor in Vancouver, Washington. This position will service CI Azumano's vacation clients by planning, arranging, and securing vacation reservations with airlines, car rentals, hotels, preferred tours, and cruise lines.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of agency experience Excellent sales skills Experience with GDS, CRMs and Microsoft applications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Strict adherence to the sales process by securing reservations with preferred air, tour and cruise providers using instructed software. GDS system (Apollo), CRM system (ClientBase), and various approved online booking engines. Meets or exceeds sales productivity level as established by branch manager after training. Record and track all client data and travel purchases in ClientBase. Invoice and record client funds in the CI Azumano accounting system in a timely manner via ClientBase. Proactively market new travel offers to existing clients. Ensure client profiles are complete in ClientBase and keep profiles updated for accuracy. Serve as a resource for travelers during the sales process, prior to travel, and post-travel.

Required Competencies (Job Knowledge)

To perform the job successfully, individuals should demonstrate the following competencies: Technical competencies after training: Intermediate to high level of understanding of ClientBase CRM software Intermediate to high level of understanding of internet browsers and booking engines Intermediate to high level of understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams Sales Skills - Proactively offers travel options, upsells when appropriate, and markets future travel products using ClientBase Problem Solving, Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, Oral Communication, Teamwork Planning/Organizing, Professionalism, Quality, Quantity, Attendance/Punctuality, Dependability

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination Language and writing skills to read and comprehend instructions, contracts, and correspondence; ability to write simple correspondence Written Communication, Mathematical Skills

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $21 - $25 USD per hour. Salary is based on location, experience, skill set, performance, and other factors.
