CI Azumano Travel

is Seneca Holdings' full-service travel management company for businesses, governments, and personal travelers. We offer 24/7 support for travelers while also supporting customers with travel expense management, policy implementation, technology solutions, business intelligence tools, and vendor negotiations.

CI Azumano is seeking a Part‑Time Travel Advisor in Vancouver, Washington. This position will service CI Azumano's vacation clients by planning, arranging, and securing vacation reservations with airlines, car rentals, hotels, preferred tours, and cruise lines.

Basic Qualifications

2+ years of agency experience

Excellent sales skills

Experience with GDS, CRMs and Microsoft applications

Essential and Responsibilities

Strict adherence to the sales process by securing reservations with preferred air, tour and cruise providers with the instructed preferred software: GDS system (Apollo), CRM system (ClientBase) and various approved online booking engines.

Meet or exceed sales productivity levels as established by branch manager once appropriate training has been completed.

Record and track all client data and travel purchases in ClientBase; invoice and record all client monies received in the CI Azumano accounting system promptly.

Proactively market new travel offers to existing clientele; maintain complete and accurate client profiles in ClientBase.

Act as a resource for travelers during the sales process, prior to travel, and post‑travel.

Required Competencies (Job Knowledge)

Technical competencies required for this position are as follows post training:

Intermediate to high level of understanding of the ClientBase CRM software

Intermediate to high level of understanding of internet browser search engines and approved booking engines

Intermediate to high level of understanding of Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams

Sales Skills: proactively offer travel options based on clients' requests; upsell when appropriate to maximize satisfaction and commission.

Problem Solving: identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem‑solving situations.

Customer Service: manage difficult or emotional customer situations; respond promptly; solicit feedback to improve service; meet commitments.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language and writing skills: read simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; interpret tour and cruise group contracts; write simple correspondence.

Written communication: write clearly and informatively in letter writing and electronic communications; edit for spelling and grammar; vary style to meet needs; present numerical data effectively.

Mathematical skills: calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and commissions; perform simple math.

Compensation Salary at Seneca is based on a variety of factors including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected hourly rate for this position is between $21 and $25 USD.
