Role Description
This is a full-time, remote role for a Grain Merchandiser / Trader. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with buyers and sellers, negotiating contracts, sourcing and trading grain commodities, managing market pricing strategies, and ensuring satisfaction on both sides of transactions. The Grain Merchandiser / Trader will also focus on staying informed about market trends and providing clients with competitive insights and solutions. Qualifications
Strong communication skills to effectively build and maintain relationships with buyers, sellers, and team members Customer service expertise to ensure client satisfaction and address customer needs efficiently Experience in negotiating contracts and closing deals successfully Knowledge of marketing principles to identify opportunities, understand market trends, and implement strategies Strong analytical and decision-making skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Understanding of agricultural products and markets is an advantage Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Business, Economics, or related field is preferred
