In this role, you will be responsible for preparing mostly vacant apartment homes for painting by performing surface repairs, sanding, caulking, priming and painting.Skills in construction painting and surface preparation are preferred but not required. On the job training is available. Pay will be dependent on experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and applying primer or sealants as needed
Perform surface repairs including plastering, drywall patching, and stucco application to ensure smooth finishes
Utilize hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, brushes, rollers, and caulking guns to complete prep work efficiently
Operate power tools and airless paint sprayers for efficient application of paints and coatings on various surfaces
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
