We’re looking for a senior Domestic Operations leader to strengthen and scale our U.S. wholesale infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building operational rigor across major retail accounts while developing the systems and team required to support significant growth.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Retail & Vendor Operations Oversee vendor onboarding, compliance, and ongoing operational management for key and mass accounts including Barnes & Noble, Walmart, and other national retailers Lead EDI implementation, maintenance, and optimization Drive strong vendor compliance across routing guides, labeling, OTIF performance, chargeback mitigation, and scorecard management Serve as the primary operational point of contact for retail partners
Wholesale Operations & Team Leadership Manage and develop a two-person domestic operations team responsible for wholesale order processing and customer service Build scalable systems and workflows to support increasing wholesale volume Establish KPIs and reporting around order accuracy, service levels, and compliance performance Identify operational bottlenecks and implement disciplined process improvements
3PL, Distribution & Inventory Management Manage the relationship with our existing 3PL partner Evaluate and strategically expand the 3PL network as needed to support growth Negotiate contracts, monitor SLAs, and drive continuous performance improvement Oversee domestic inventory management, including accuracy controls and monthly reconciliation Ensure alignment between ERP/inventory systems and 3PL reporting Maintain operational excellence across inbound, outbound, and retail compliance execution
Experience We’re Looking For 6–10+ years of domestic wholesale operations experience within toy, gift, or consumer products Direct experience shipping to Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble, or similar mass/key retail accounts Deep knowledge of EDI, vendor compliance programs, routing guides, and chargeback prevention Experience managing and optimizing 3PL relationships and inventory reconciliation Proven ability to scale operations within a fast-growing brand Strong people management experience with a hands-on leadership style Highly detail-oriented with strong systems thinking and operational discipline
