Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects in the property industry. Collaborate with project managers and clients to assess project requirements and budgets. Analyze construction drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine project needs. Source and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers. Develop and maintain cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment. Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards. Support the construction department with accurate and timely cost analysis reports. Strong knowledge of the property and construction industry. Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and negotiation abilities. Experience in preparing and presenting cost analysis reports.
