This role is responsible for managing end-to-end import shipments via air and ocean, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Key Responsibilities Coordinate air and ocean import shipments from origin to final delivery Communicate with overseas agents, airlines, ocean carriers, trucking companies, and customers Prepare and review import documentation (e.g., HAWB, MAWB, HBL, MBL, commercial invoices, packing lists) Ensure timely customs clearance in collaboration with customs brokers Monitor shipment milestones and proactively resolve delays or exceptions Arrange final mile delivery and track cargo availability Provide accurate billing and cost verification Maintain shipment records in the freight forwarding system Ensure compliance with TSA, FMC, and U.S. Customs regulations
Qualifications 2+ years of experience in air and/or ocean import freight forwarding Strong understanding of international shipping documentation and Incoterms Knowledge of U.S. Customs import procedures Experience working with CargoWise or similar freight forwarding software preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills
