is seeking a 2-6 year Real Estate Associate to join its Washington, DC office. This opportunity offers exposure to elite, headline-level development work - including large-scale urban redevelopments and billion-dollar mixed-use projects - within a truly international platform. The Practice
The DC real estate team advises developers, institutional investors, lenders, and corporate clients on complex commercial real estate matters across asset classes.
Core areas include:
Large-scale development and redevelopment projects Mixed-use, hospitality, office, and multifamily transactions Acquisitions and dispositions Joint ventures and equity structuring Real estate finance (borrower and lender side) Leasing and asset-level operational matters
The team regularly collaborates across offices and practice groups, particularly in financial institutions, life sciences, energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors - reflecting the firm’s strong DC hub and sector integration.
Global Platform
The firm operates on a global scale with thousands of lawyers across 30+ international offices, offering substantial cross-border capability and deal exposure.

Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate transactional documents across acquisitions, financings, and development matters Support joint venture structuring and complex deal execution Manage due diligence, including title and survey review Coordinate closings and transaction timelines Work directly with partners and clients on high-value matters
Qualifications
2-6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience Experience in acquisitions, development, joint ventures, and/or real estate finance Admission to the DC Bar (or ability to obtain promptly) Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment Sound judgment and collaborative approach
