Outside Sales Account Manager

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for industrial equipment and hands-on solutions? Join our team as an Outside Sales Account Manager and take charge of a well-established territory. You'll be responsible for expanding business through direct sales and service of high-performance fluid process equipment with full support from a trusted brand and technical team behind you.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting both new prospects and existing accounts.
  • Drive full-cycle sales: from lead qualification and cold calls to product presentations, quoting, and closing deals.
  • Promote and sell a wide range of fluid handling, rotating equipment, pumps, seals, and related services.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through regular on-site visits and expert service.
  • Collaborate with a knowledgeable inside sales and technical support team to exceed customer expectations.
  • Leverage CRM tools and other resources to manage your time, territory, and pipeline effectively.

Experience, Education and Skills

  • High School diploma or GED required; 2- or 4-year technical/engineering degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of industrial sales experience, ideally in fluid handling and rotating equipment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Suite of office products and ability to learn and effectively use a CRM system.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for on-site customer visits.
