The Regional Sales Director drives profitable regional growth through disciplined execution of sales strategy and strong leadership of manufacturer representative groups. This role owns regional performance, ensures alignment to corporate priorities, and serves as the primary commercial leader for assigned territories and channels.

Responsibilities:
Revenue & Growth Leadership
Deliver regional revenue, margin, and growth targets aligned to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
Drive new customer acquisition and increased share across assigned channels
Execute pricing actions, promotions, and product launches with consistency
Identify risks and opportunities and adjust strategy to close gaps
Manufacturer Representative Management
Set clear expectations and hold rep firms accountable to results
Conduct regular business reviews focused on performance and pipeline
Recommend corrective actions or rep changes when standards are not met
Distributor & Account Engagement
Support regional distributor relationships in partnership with corporate leadership
Participate in joint calls, ride-alongs, and key customer meetings
Serve as escalation point for regional account and distributor issues
Forecasting & Business Management
Own forecast accuracy and pipeline visibility for the region
Analyze performance using Salesforce, Excel, and Power BI
Provide clear, data-driven insights to sales leadership
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service
Represent the region in planning, strategy, and execution discussions
Model accountability, professionalism, and results-oriented leadership
Qualifications & Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; business or related field preferred
8+ years of progressive B2B sales experience
Proven success managing manufacturer representative organizations
Strong distributor and channel management experience
Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI
Ability to travel extensively within assigned region
Travel Required:
Up to 60% travel may be required, with periods during the year in which this could be more.
