Your Responsibilities
Develop detailed cost estimates for a wide range of commercial construction projects.
Lead or assist in the development of preconstruction and bidding strategies.
Carry out quantity takeoffs, scope assessments, and subcontractor evaluations.
Collaborate efficiently with operations, leadership, and design teams.
Review project drawings, specifications, and assess constructability.
Engage in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to pursuit strategies as a Senior Estimator.
Qualifications We Seek
A minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in a commercial general contracting environment (Senior Estimator candidates typically have 8-10+ years).
Demonstrated success in estimating commercial construction projects.
Extensive knowledge of full-scope estimating and preconstruction processes.
Experience with conceptual, schematic, and hard-bid estimation methodologies.
Able to navigate various project types and sizes effectively.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in sectors like office, healthcare, hospitality, retail, industrial, or mixed-use.
Leadership experience in preconstruction or pursuit management.
Familiarity with advanced estimating software and takeoff tools.
