Senior Grants Management Analyst, part of the Hazard Mitigation Special Projects Unit, leads development of initiatives to address state mitigation priorities and leverage emerging state funding opportunities. The analyst supports applicants in planning and implementing residential wildfire mitigation efforts, manages multiple projects with existing applicants, ensures program expenses are validated, and provides guidance to new applicants on best practices.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of initiatives for state mitigation priorities and funding opportunities.
Coordinate special statewide initiatives such as the California Wildfire Mitigation Program with Hazard Mitigation Grant Division and other state agencies.
Support applicants in planning and implementing residential wildfire mitigation efforts.
Manage multiple projects with existing applicants to ensure program expenses are validated.
Assist new applicants in following best practices when developing their programs.
Undertake data analytics, legislative analysis, and development of tools and materials to support outreach and technical assistance.
Minimum Requirements
Job Code: JC-508076 – Analyst II classification.
Salary range: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month (minimum of alternate range for new to state candidates).
Number of Positions: 1.
Work Location: Mather, CA; Hybrid Telework eligible.
Permanent, full-time position.
