
Directly responsible for promoting and generating new insurance business, as well as maintaining and servicing existing policies and policyholders.
Conducts business in accordance with the agents’ employee handbook, career agents’ memorandum of employment terms and commission schedules, and other documents published by the companies.
Adheres to underwriting department guidelines for the acquisition of new business and the retention of existing business.
Maintains adequate and complete records as required by the companies and by the Regional Manager.
Meets or exceeds all required training and production standards.
Exclusively promotes the entire Farm Bureau family of member services in a manner consistent with company policies.
In cooperation with the Regional Manager, the Missouri Farm Bureau Federation regional coordinator, and the county Farm Bureau Board of Directors, assists with all county activities involving member services.
Provides advice and assistance to the county Farm Bureau Board of Directors, as requested.
Travels to client sites to photograph and document insured properties.
Coordinates with the Customer Service Representative to ensure an effective and efficient flow of business.
Provides excellent customer service to all external and internal customers and maintains a good working relationship with field and Home Office personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of all lines of insurance.
Capable of organizing, planning, and prioritizing work effectively.
Proficient in communicating clearly and effectively through personal contact, written correspondence, and telephone.
Ability to represent the companies in a positive, professional, and ethical manner.
Skilled at operating effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Possess strong interpersonal skills.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid Missouri driver’s license.
Must be licensed in all lines of insurance sold by the companies and meet all state and company requirements for continuing education and professional development.
