We are partnering with an AmLaw 100 firm seeking multiple Litigation Legal Secretaries to support a high‑volume, fast‑paced litigation practice in its Orange County office. These roles are available on a temporary, temp‑to‑hire, or direct‑hire basis. Ideal candidates excel in a deadline‑driven environment, thrive in complex case workflows, and enjoy serving as central support to busy litigation teams.

Location: Irvine Spectrum, Orange County, CA

Schedule: Full‑Time | 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. PT | Hybrid (4 days onsite/1 remote)

Compensation: Up to $45/hour (dependent on experience)

What You'll Do

Draft, prepare, and revise litigation documents including correspondence, pleadings, discovery, mediation/arbitration filings, and federal/state/agency submissions.

Assemble, organize, and proofread exhibits, binders, and trial/hearing notebooks.

Handle e‑filings through ECF and California state systems; track deadlines and maintain attorney calendars in compliance with court rules.

Maintain electronic case files and exhibits; run conflict checks; assist with new matter openings.

Support monthly billing processes and prepare attorney expense reports.

Provide overflow and floater support for multiple attorneys as needed.

Coordinate travel arrangements, monitor CLE requirements, track bar admissions, and manage other time‑sensitive administrative tasks.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of litigation legal secretary experience in a law firm

Strong working knowledge of ECF and California state e‑filing procedures

Familiarity with California and federal court rules

Experience with legal DMS platforms (NetDocs or similar)

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Windows environment)

Ability to support multiple attorneys simultaneously

Billing system experience (Intapp or similar) and expense tools (Concur or similar)

Trial preparation experience strongly preferred

Experience with travel coordination and CLE/bar tracking

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
