This role is expected to operate as a self-starter and independent owner of pricing intelligence, proactively bringing insights and recommendations to leadership rather than waiting for direction.
Role Summary:
- Client is looking for a Pricing Analyst to support leadership with market-driven pricing insights across software products, implementation services, and support models. The role focuses on competitive benchmarking, pricing analysis, and data-backed recommendations to help define client’s future pricing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Perform market and competitive pricing analysis in the warehouse automation and supply chain technology space
Independently research and benchmark competitor pricing models, packaging, monetization approaches, and commercial strategies across WES/WMS, robotics, automation software, implementation services, and support offerings.
Analyze existing pricing, deal structures, and win/loss trends
Review historical deal data, proposals, discounting behaviors, and outcomes to identify patterns, gaps, and learnings—recognizing that formal pricing frameworks are still evolving.
Support development of pricing models and scenarios across products and services
Help define and shape initial pricing structures, models, and scenarios where no standardized pricing currently exists, using market intelligence and value-based considerations.
Identify pricing inconsistencies, margin opportunities, and optimization areas
Surface risks, inconsistencies, and margin improvement opportunities proactively, with clear recommendations on trade-offs and strategic impact.
Partner with Sales, Product, Finance, and Leadership to provide actionable pricing insights
Act as an independent thought partner, not a transactional support role, ensuring pricing insights influence product positioning, sales strategy, and financial planning.
Present concise, executive-ready pricing recommendations
Translate complex data and research into crisp, insight-driven narratives and recommendations for senior leadership, enabling informed, strategic decision-making.
