Fortune is launching a daily business show! We are looking for an Editor/Producer for a new daily format, focused on must-know weekly business news across core coverage areas, and Fortune 500 coverage.

In this role you will support the editorial and technical production of a live-to-tape daily news show, including executing weekly and daily editorial agendas and coordinating distribution across platforms and formats. This role requires working in close collaboration with the Showrunner, newsroom, and events team.

You will support guest booking, scheduling and logistics, and shoot production while owning post-production editing to ensure our video offering is strong and consistent in its quality across the daily show and our vodcast and feature offerings.

Top candidates for this role will have strong technical production and editing experience, and experience working on a daily show format. Collaboration, decisiveness, and clear communication skills are critical, and you will work in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

This position will be based in our New York office and reports to the Showrunner.

You Will

Edit full episodes and social clips in Adobe Premiere, ensuring high editorial and production standards.

Book and coordinate high-profile guests, including executives, founders, policymakers, and Fortune reporters.

Manage guest communications, pre-interviews, briefing materials, and scheduling logistics.

Support all aspects of technical production of daily show in-studio, and on location at Fortune and external events.

Support production and post-production workflows and program distribution for new series, ensuring all projects meet editorial and production standards and schedules.

You Have

3+ years of experience producing and editing on a daily news show or high-frequency video format.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere.

Strong news judgment and a deep understanding of, and interest in, business news and current events.

Experience managing booking, scheduling, and logistics in fast-paced newsroom environments.

Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Location This role will be based in NYC in our headquarters five days per week.

Salary Range $80,000 - $100,000. This range is a good faith estimate and may ultimately vary based on a number of relevant factors.
