Overview
A nationally recognized nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced marketing professional to serve as a Liaison, One-Time Giving within its direct marketing team. This onsite role is based in Memphis and will play a key part in supporting large-scale cultivation and retention campaigns that drive significant annual fundraising revenue.
The ideal candidate brings strong integrated marketing experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to align multiple stakeholders without direct authority. This individual will operate at both a strategic and tactical level—ensuring campaigns are well-documented, coordinated, and executed with precision across internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
Integrated Campaign Strategy & Execution
Support the development and coordination of integrated, multi-channel direct marketing campaigns across direct mail, digital, and multimedia channels
Help ensure short- and long-term revenue goals are met through disciplined execution and alignment of campaign strategies
Contribute to donor-centric marketing plans that enhance engagement and strengthen retention efforts
Assist in documenting campaign strategy, timelines, and performance expectations
Budgeting, Analytics & Performance Monitoring
Support annual budget planning through analysis of historical and current campaign results
Monitor revenue and expense performance, helping prepare aggregate reporting and trend analysis
Evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend data-informed optimizations to improve targeting, revenue, and engagement
Review production quantities and pricing to ensure alignment with approved budgets
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Serve as a primary liaison across creative, content, segmentation, analytics, and activation teams
Translate needs, priorities, and constraints between groups to keep work aligned and moving forward
Provide clear documentation of objectives, timelines, and deliverables without formally owning workstreams
Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Review and approve high volumes of marketing materials to ensure accuracy, brand alignment, and regulatory compliance
Ensure adherence to industry guidelines and organizational standards
Maintain high attention to detail across messaging, production, and execution
Project Coordination & Problem Solving
Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and documentation in a fast-paced environment
Identify risks early and elevate appropriately
Negotiate priorities diplomatically while maintaining composure under pressure
Develop practical solutions to overcome obstacles and improve process efficiency
Required Skills
Strong understanding of direct marketing and integrated marketing principles
High proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Experience working cross-functionally in high-performance environments
Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple teams simultaneously
Proven ability to translate priorities and constraints across stakeholder groups
Experience managing initiatives without formal authority
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and process orientation
Preferred Qualifications
Background in a marketing or advertising agency environment
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, or related disciplines
Experience with digital, social, mobile, or emerging marketing platforms
Familiarity with budget tracking, forecasting, and performance reporting
