About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care aimed at improving mobility, strength, and functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities

• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist

• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety techniques

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Current PTA license in the state of employment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
