Director of Case Management is needed in Tampa, FL.

Tampa is a city on Tampa Bay, along Florida s Gulf Coast. A major business center, it s also known for its museums and other cultural offerings. Busch Gardens is an African-themed amusement park with thrill rides and animal-viewing areas. The historic Ybor City neighborhood, developed by Cuban and Spanish cigar-factory workers at the turn of the 20th century, is a dining and nightlife destination.

This position is with a progressive, financially stable Hospital System.

• Salary $102,107 - $140,000 depending on experience
• Sign-on bonus: $10,000

Responsibilities:

• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including the case management model, staffing (skill mix and FTEs), use of information technologies, onboarding, and staff competencies to achieve performance and quality objectives.
• Allocates resources to effectively staff the department and meet productivity and quality goals.
• Responsible for oversight of CM core functions and practice.
• Ensures adherence to care coordination and discharge planning processes, ensuring timeliness, quality, and proper documentation.
• Works with the Facility CFO and Division CM Leader to achieve established goals and expectations.
• Assesses and improves the department s performance by evaluating operational processes, monitoring performance through analyzing data, and implementing sustainable performance improvement activities.
• Ensuring compliance with policies and SOP.
• Establish working relationships with key stakeholders to include CMO, CNO, ancillary service leaders, Ethics & Compliance, and Legal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, required
• Master's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration, preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (required)
• 3+ years experience in overall acute care Hospital Case Management
• 2+ years experience in case management leadership in acute care
