Sales Associate, Seasonal Part Time - Legacy Place, Dedham, MA
Location: Legacy Place, Dedham, MA. Seasonal Part Time Crew Mate (Seasonal Part Time Sales Associate). Department: Retail. Reports to: Captain (Store Manager)/First Mate (Assistant Manager)/Second Mate (Management Trainee).
Overview Responsible for assisting the management team in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise ("Every Day Should Feel This Good") and makes service a top priority.
Responsibilities Generate Sales
Meet sales goals and measures.
Develop and maintain relationships with top customers.
Support in-store event sourcing and execution.
Customer Experience
Reflect Shep & Ian’s vision of "Every Day Should Feel This Good" to customers through "Hosting the Party".
Lead the store in email capture and educate new associates on best practices.
Ensure the customer wish list is always current and customers are notified when products arrive.
Crew Development
Assist with training new associates.
Create a welcoming, fun, encouraging and energetic crew and customer environment.
Help recruit and refer top talent for the store’s teams.
Support store and team‑building activities with the management team.
Operations
Maintain efficient merchandise controls.
Maintain loss prevention awareness at all times.
Help maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
Merchandising
Help maintain merchandising per company standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives.
Contribute to weekly product feedback.
Requirements
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Team focused, confident, and professional.
Creative, adaptable, entrepreneurial, and driven by integrity.
Strong verbal and written skills.
Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sale and repeat business.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, overnights, weekends.

Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to effectively receive and communicate feedback.

Physical Requirements
Stand and/or move around for extended periods of time.
Reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally.

Salary Range: $15.58 - $17.70
