Full-Time Retail Sales Associate We are currently looking for the right candidate to join our Team. Pay : $12.95 to $15.95 per hour We offer a performance-based commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.97 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and helps with inquiries and problem resolution. The associates work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more.
The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Final pay is based on factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
Performs non-management open/close procedures.
Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
Answers incoming calls per company standards.
Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers; maintains a positive team environment.
Partner with employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
Completes assigned training successfully.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.) per applicable laws.
Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
Ability to assist customers on exterior areas or retrieve products stored in exterior locations as needed.
Minimum Age: 18 years old
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math proficiency.
Cash handling experience is preferred.
Ability to work in multiple locations as business needs dictate.
Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit of personal performance. Additional details are provided during the interview process.
