to join our Team! Pay:
$10.00 to $14.00 per hour We offer a commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.92 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the store team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides of the business. The role greets, engages, and interacts with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions, and supports inquiries and problem resolution. The role involves working with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, and may include firearms in FFL locations.
The position offers hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities
Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
Perform non-management open/close procedures.
Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise.
Process sales and loan transactions according to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Handle cash and negotiable items in accordance with policies and procedures.
Answer incoming calls per company standards.
Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers, showing respect and using proper communication tools.
Collaborate with all employees to create a positive customer experience.
Complete assigned training successfully.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting).
Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
May assist customers on exterior areas and retrieve products stored in exterior locations.
Minimum Age: 18 years old
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit. Further details are provided during the interview process.
