Are you a connector who thrives on relationships and loves to see people take their next step in faith? Do you have the ability to execute a vision, shepherd people with biblical maturity, and create pathways for growth? If so, this might be the opportunity God is calling you to. We are a dynamic, growing church of 600-700 in-person attendees with a strong online community, located in Moon Township near Pittsburgh International Airport. We are a Christ-centered, gospel-driven, mission-focused community passionate about helping people know God, love God, and follow God.

What Makes Us Unique

Innovative Mission Approach: We operate missional businesses and a community center that both reach our community and fund our vision

Strategic Growth: We are experiencing healthy, intentional growth as we implement our "Building Together" vision

Kingdom-Minded: Our vision is to see a kingdom-building, culture-transforming movement in the Airport Seven communities

Collaborative Culture: We value innovation, prayerful discernment, and people over programs

Why This Is a Great Opportunity?

Shape Spiritual Journeys: Guide our church family’s spiritual growth by moving people from first-time guests to fully engaged disciples through our Growth Track pathway.

Lead with Vision: Design and oversee environments where people experience authentic community, discover their purpose, and grow in Christ— from missional communities to outreach initiatives.

Collaborative Leadership: Be part of a dynamic pastoral team that values innovation, biblical truth, and life transformation, working with our Executive Pastor and Lead Pastor.

Mobilize for Mission: Equip and empower Kingdom Builders to engage our community and world for Christ through local outreach, mission trips, and service projects.

Build Something Lasting: Create a discipleship ecosystem that transforms lives and communities.

Your Role As Community Life Pastor, you will serve as the bridge between our mission and the daily lived experience of our people. You will oversee the Growth Track discipleship pathway (Explore → Partner → Builder), develop missional community leaders, and coordinate with Kids, Students, and cross-cultural ministry teams to create a unified approach to spiritual formation. This is not a traditional "groups pastor" role. You will be the architect of our entire community life strategy, creating pathways that move people from first-time guests to Kingdom Builders living on mission in the Airport Seven communities.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and oversee our three-phase discipleship pathway, recruiting and training facilitators for each level

Missional Community Development

Launch and support neighborhood-focused communities that pursue God, build relationships, and share hope in practical ways

Cross-Ministry Integration: Partner with Kids, Students, Young Adults, and cross-cultural ministry leaders to align all efforts with our unified vision

Lead local service projects, mission trips, and community engagement initiatives that activate our Kingdom Builders

Pastoral Care Coordination: Work with our Care Team and Elders to ensure people receive appropriate support and pastoral attention

Maintain strong Sunday connections with guests, volunteers, and church family to foster relational engagement; assist as part of the pastoral team with weekend messages, communion and generosity moments; lead Growth Track sessions; supervise the Ministry & Volunteer Engagement Coordinator; contribute to overall church vision and health
