We are seeking a highly experienced Dynamics 365 CRM Implementation Architect to lead the architecture, planning, and execution of a migration from an on-premises Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service environment to Dynamics 365 Customer Service in the cloud. This role will serve as the technical and functional authority across the CRM ecosystem, ensuring alignment with B2B customer service best practices, enterprise architecture standards, and long-term scalability objectives.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Dynamics CRM (on-prem and cloud), proven success delivering complex migrations, and strong knowledge of Sales and Marketing modules. Experience with enterprise data governance and Dynamics ERP platforms is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Leadership Define the target-state architecture for Dynamics 365 Customer Service (cloud). Lead end-to-end migration strategy from on-premises Dynamics CRM to Dynamics 365. Evaluate current-state customizations, integrations, workflows, and extensions; design modernization roadmap. Establish solution design standards, governance frameworks, and implementation patterns. Migration & Implementation Execution

Develop and execute a structured migration plan including environment strategy, data migration, integration redesign, security model alignment, and cutover planning. Lead technical design workshops and architecture reviews. Oversee configuration, customization, and solution deployment across Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing modules. Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and compliance requirements are met. B2B Customer Service Strategy

Translate B2B customer service best practices into system design. Optimize case management, SLA management, entitlement models, knowledge management, omnichannel engagement, and automation. Align CRM architecture to support complex account hierarchies, contract-based service models, and enterprise service workflows. Cross-Functional CRM Expertise

Provide architectural guidance across Dynamics 365 Sales and Marketing. Ensure consistent data models, process alignment, and reporting across service, sales, and marketing domains. Design cross-module integrations and customer lifecycle workflows. Integration & Data Architecture

Architect integrations with ERP systems, marketing platforms, data warehouses, and third-party systems. Define API, middleware, and integration standards. Lead data migration strategy including cleansing, transformation, deduplication, validation, and reconciliation. Establish data governance best practices including data quality controls, security roles, retention policies, and compliance standards. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership

Partner with business leaders, IT leadership, and external vendors. Provide executive-level communication regarding architecture decisions and trade-offs. Mentor internal technical teams and ensure knowledge transfer post-implementation. Drive risk identification and mitigation throughout the migration lifecycle. Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365. Demonstrated experience leading at least one full migration from Dynamics CRM on-premises to Dynamics 365 cloud. Deep functional and technical expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Service. Strong understanding of B2B customer service operations and enterprise service models. In-depth knowledge of Dynamics CRM Sales and Marketing modules. Hands-on experience with customization, plugins, workflows, Power Platform, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse. Experience designing enterprise-grade integrations using APIs, Azure services, or middleware platforms. Strong understanding of security models, compliance, and enterprise architecture standards. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Dynamics ERP platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Business Central, or legacy AX/GP/NAV). Experience implementing data governance frameworks. Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 and/or Azure. Experience in large-scale B2B enterprise environments. Key Competencies

Compensation - $130 - 170K
