Order Entry Representative

The Order Entry Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers placing orders. This role involves handling a high volume of quick calls and emails daily, primarily in a business-to-business context. The representative will resolve customer questions and issues, manage customer service inquiries, and process all orders over the phone while building rapport with customers. Responsibilities: Act as the first point of contact for customers placing orders. Handle a high volume of quick calls and emails, up to 80+ daily. Manage customer interactions primarily in a business-to-business setting. Resolve customer questions and issues effectively. Process and manage all orders over the phone. Build and maintain rapport with customers during interactions. Work off a queue from a central number that customers call into. Handle increased call volume during peak seasons, reaching 90-100 calls daily. Essential Skills: Experience with order entry and processing. Strong customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent multitasking abilities. Great personality with strong communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: No specific certifications or education required. Work Environment: The role is based in an on-site office environment with a cubicle setting. The dress code is business casual. The representative will work within a team of six other Order Entry Reps, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
