
Technical Records Specialist 1

The Children's Developmental Disabilities (DD) Program is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Records Specialist 1 to join our administrative support team. The Children's DD Program provides case management and authorizes Family Directed Services for children birth to 21 with developmental disabilities. Come help us support Idaho families who are looking for additional supports and services for their children. This position is open to Coeur d'Alene, Kellogg, Ponderay, Lewiston, St. Maries, and Grangeville. Technical Records Specialist 1's will support our Children's DD Program through a variety of administrative tasks to include: referral management, document preparation, processing and management, intake and discharge processes, contract monitoring support, database management, and processing authorization and notices for a variety of programs. This role also includes phone, mail and email support to internal and external customers. Our Children's DD Team enjoys: sharing knowledge while learning with a variety of team members and providers from different professional backgrounds, protecting and making a difference for Idaho's vulnerable populations, working independently yet collaboratively with a statewide team, and embracing lifelong learning and change. This position may be eligible for limited telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. Approval to telecommute is not guaranteed and subject to termination at any time. Provide excellent customer service on the phone, via email and in-person to internal and external clients. Work with sensitive or restricted data. Gain basic understanding of Medicaid, Children's DD and other DHW programs. Maintain online program manuals. Determine and explain compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policies and take appropriate action. Minimum qualifications: You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position.
