Electric Distribution Designer – PECO / PPL

We’re hiring an experienced

Electric Distribution Design Engineer

with hands-on experience in

PECO or PPL distribution standards . If you’ve designed overhead and/or underground electric distribution projects within these territories, you already know — every utility has its own playbook. We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running. This is a high-impact role supporting essential power infrastructure projects across Pennsylvania. You’ll work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment where your technical expertise is valued and your growth is supported. What You’ll Be Doing

Design overhead and/or underground electric distribution systems within

PECO or PPL service territories Develop construction packages and detailed design drawings Apply utility-specific standards, specifications, and permitting requirements Perform or coordinate pole loading analysis (O-Calc, SPIDAcalc, or similar tools preferred) Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and utility stakeholders Support project execution from design through construction support What We’re Looking For

Experience designing electric distribution projects for

PECO or PPL Strong understanding of distribution standards and utility workflows Proficiency in AutoCAD or related drafting software Familiarity with overhead and/or underground distribution systems Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred EIT certification is a plus Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment Please send a current copy of your resume with work history to chuck@libertyjobs.com for consideration.
