Nurturing PT Morning Nanny/Mother's Helper for Newborn + Toddler in Menlo Park
Schedule:
8 AM-1 PM Monday to Thursday or Friday (25-30 hours per week depending on candidate's preference)
Salary Amount or Range:
$37-$40/hour D.O.E. + standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

Description A family in Menlo Park is seeking a nuturing part-time nanny to work alongside a stay-at-home mom in caring for their two girls ages 1-month and 2 years old. Responsibilities include caring for their newborn or toddler depending on the day and occasionally both children, helping the girls explore the world at their pace, taking the toddler to local parks and activities, caring for baby, light tidying, laundry, and preparing bottles and kid-friendly meals.
Their ideal candidate is someone fun, bubbly, active and energetic who can easily keep up with a busy toddler. Someone happy to partner with mom who is comfortable with every day looking a bit different will be the best fit. Candidates should have prior experience caring for newborns and toddlers with knowledge of child development and milestones.
Experience Requirements
2 years minimum experience working as a nanny with excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
TB and Tdap vaccine
CPR Certified
Valid driver with clean record (family can provide household car for work-related driving)
Fun, bubbly
Kind, loving
Nurturing
Active and energetic; can easily keep up with a busy toddler
Experienced with newborns and toddlers
Collaboraitve and comfortable working alongside stay-at-home mom
Plans to stay with the family long-term
Responsibilities
Working alongside stay-at-home mom as an extra pair of hands
Caring for the baby or toddler depending on the day
Occasionally care for both children as needed
Taking the toddler to local parks and activities
Preparing, washing, sanitizing bottles
Preparing simple healthy meals and snacks for toddler
Light tidying including children's bedrooms, play areas, common areas
