Salary Amount or Range:
$45-$47/hour D.O.E. + Standard benefits (paid vacation, sick days, holidays)

A family in St. Francis Wood is seeking an experienced, career nanny to join their team in caring for their toddler daughter (almost 2) and newborn son (due late July). The family currently employs a full-time weekday nanny and is looking to add a second long-term nanny to provide weekend coverage and additional weekday support.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional nanny who thrives in a collaborative household and is confident managing both a toddler and newborn simultaneously. The best person for them is warm, engaging, and reliable with a history of longevity with prior employers.
Schedule:
At least 40 hours per week, ideally 5 consecutive days including the weekends, with two consecutive days off. The family is open to discussing, but for example the schedule could be Friday to Tuesday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience working as a nanny with longevity in prior positions and excellent verifiable references
Educational Requirements
Fluency in English
Qualifications
COVID-vaccinated + willing to update the booster
TB and Tdap vaccine
CPR Certified
Valid driver with clean record (family open to discussing a work vehicle or will reimburse for mileage if candidate uses their own car)
Extensive experience with newborns through preschool age
Experience caring for a toddler and newborn simultaneously
History of longevity with prior employers
Warm, nurturing, and collaborative
Comfortable working alongside another full-time nanny during the week
Can make at least a year commitment
Responsibilities All duties related to the children, including:
Engaging, age-appropriate developmental play and activities
Maintaining consistent routines
Newborn care (once baby arrives)
Preparing children’s meals
Preparing, washing, sanitizing bottles
Tidying play areas and maintaining organization of children’s spaces
Children’s laundry
The family has a housekeeper who handles deep cleaning. No travel required.
