Description A super sweet family in Half Moon Bay with two working parents is seeking a full time nanny to help care for their three boys (ages 1, 2.5 and 4.5 years old). They are health, active, sweet kids who love to play and enjoy swimming, Legos, and jiu jitsu. Their eldest is in TK until 2:30p and their middle child is in preschool until 3p while their 1-year-old is home full-time.
Responsibilities include driving them to/from school and extracurriculars (candidates should be comfortable getting in the pool at swim lessons), planning fun activities and outings, child laundry, preparing the children's snacks and meals, and light tidying.
Flexibility and willingness to travel is needed as the family has a cabin in Tahoe and will bring their nanny along during the week (nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom). They also travel domestic a few times a year to see extended family and love to bring their nanny along for some of those trips as well.
The best person for them is a good communicator, not just with the parents but also the children. Someone who has a calm, grounding presence who guides the boys through transitions, engages with them in conversation and takes interest in their interests will be the best fit! This is a great opportunity for someone looking for longevity and to feel like part of the family. Ultimately the best person for them is someone nurturing, reliable, and active who enjoys being outdoors!
