What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist customers both inside and outside the U-Haul center with products and services
Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory
Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring proper equipment handling
Clean and inspect equipment, including checking fluid levels
Prepare rental invoices and accept returned equipment
What is Required (Qualifications)
Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs.
Willingness to use protective clothing or gear when necessary
Availability to participate in ongoing training programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience in customer service or a related field
Familiarity with rental equipment or similar products
Ability to operate a forklift (certification available upon employment)
Certification in propane filling (training provided by employer)
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor
