Job Title: Portfolio Retention (Consumer Direct) Sales Manager

Charlotte, NC – In-Office
What You'll Do
Recruit, onboard, coach, and motivate a high‑performing team of Retention Loan Officers to consistently hit and exceed targets for call volume, talk time, applications, locks, fundings, conversions, pull‑through, and recapture volume, with a strong in‑office presence to support team development and real‑time coaching in the call center environment.
Develop and execute proactive outbound campaigns (calls, emails, texts) plus inbound handling from data triggers, servicing portal alerts, and customer inquiries—no more inconsistent leads.
Monitor team KPIs daily/weekly, analyze performance data, run role‑plays/one‑on‑ones, implement contests/incentives, and drive process improvements to boost efficiency and results.
Partner cross‑functionally with underwriting, processing, servicing, and operations teams to deliver fast, seamless closings and 5‑star borrower experiences.
Ensure full compliance with all regulations (TCPA, RESPA, TRID, fair lending) in communications, originations, and documentation.
Contribute to scaling the retention division as Rosegate grows its MSR portfolio and consumer‑direct channels—driving overall company growth.

Have 5+ years in mortgage sales leadership, with 3+ years managing consumer‑direct, retention/recapture, refinance, or portfolio‑focused Loan Officer teams (outbound/inbound DTC experience strongly preferred).
Are top performers themselves with a track record of leading teams to exceed aggressive production goals in warm‑lead environments.
Excel at coaching: building instant rapport with team members, providing constructive feedback, sharpening closing skills, and turning average performers into closers.
Active NMLS license (or immediate eligibility) in good standing; multi‑state experience a plus.
Deep knowledge of mortgage products (conventional, FHA, VA, jumbo, refi/cash‑out/home equity), servicing dynamics, market conditions, and retention strategies.
Strong communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
Proficiency with LOS, CRM systems, outbound dialers, Microsoft Office, and performance analytics tools.
