Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in tax preparation, strong knowledge of QuickBooks, and hands on experience with payroll preparation and payroll report filings. Experience with compilations and reviews is a plus but not required. This position does not require CPA licensure. Responsibilities include: Preparing individual business and other tax returns accurately and in compliance. Maintain and reconcile client accounts in QuickBooks. Prepare payroll, process payroll tax filings, and maintain compliance with payroll regulations. Assist with compilation and review engagements (preferred but not required). Stay up to date on tax laws, regulations and filing requirements. Qualifications include: 2-3 years of experience in tax preparation. Proficiency in QuickBooks. Experience with payroll preparation and payroll tax filings. Excellent communication.
