Parts Manager M-F (between the hours 7:00AM – 8:00PM) Rotating Saturday Schedule (7:30AM - 4:30PM) Summary:
The Parts Counterperson sells parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop or on the phone. They are responsible for taking inventory of stock in storage and, if necessary, on shelves. Fully paid for health insurance coverage for you!!! Essential Duties
Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received Replenishes assigned inventory daily Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered Participates in all training programs that are made available Understands, keeps current, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that may affect parts sales Remains fully compliant with Company HR trainings Maintain professional and courteous attitude, wardrobe, and grooming Other tasks as assigned Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Two years related experience and/or training preferred Prior General Motors experience preferred Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficient in basic math skills Company Description
