Temporary Parts Counter Associate – Automotive Dealership (3–4 Month Assignment)
Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Parts Counter Person for a temporary 3–4 month assignment. This role supports service technicians, retail, and wholesale customers by identifying, ordering, and selling automotive parts and accessories in a fast-paced dealership environment. Responsibilities: Assist technicians and customers with parts identification and sales Process orders, invoices, returns, and credits accurately Provide pricing and availability information in person and by phone Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory Maintain accurate inventory records Ensure timely parts fulfillment for the Service Department Follow dealership policies and safety procedures Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Automotive parts experience preferred (dealership experience strongly preferred) Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable using computer systems and parts catalogs Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Valid driver's license Assignment Details: Temporary position (approximately 3–4 months) Full-time hours Competitive hourly pay This is a great opportunity for an experienced parts professional seeking short-term employment in a professional dealership setting.
