Position Overview As a Sales Executive with LoopNet you will be part of a growth-oriented, innovative company and represent the industry’s most sophisticated digital advertising and marketing solutions. You will partner with the world’s top owners and brokers to develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies to showcase and differentiate their portfolio of properties online. Key to your success will be your ability to build long‑lasting, service‑focused, customer relationships through consultative sales methods, product advising, and analytics reporting. You will leverage CoStar Group’s deep knowledge of the commercial real estate industry to grow your client portfolio by prospecting, studying industry trends and news, and conducting product demonstrations. All new Sales Executives receive extensive classroom and field training, enabling them to represent the brand and achieve career success. In addition, you will develop marketable skills in digital marketing and sales by working closely with internal industry experts, product marketing, and product management specialists. This role is on‑site in our CoStar Group office in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management – Build relationships with clients to drive advertising revenue and become a trusted advisor on their strategic marketing plans.
Business Development – Prospect new clients using CoStar Group’s extensive property data, drive sales, and close new business.
Teamwork – Partner with colleagues across LoopNet and CoStar teams to drive sales revenue.
Business Industry Acumen – Develop subject‑matter expertise in digital advertising strategies, commercial real estate, and market trends within your territory.
Customer Focus – Deliver outstanding customer support through regular, value‑added communication, market insights, and solutions that help clients achieve their goals.
Client Engagement – Conduct regular in‑person meetings and prospecting, requiring travel by car and occasionally beyond the driving radius of your office.
Basic Qualifications
4+ years of successful full‑cycle sales and account management experience in a B2B environment selling CRE, digital advertising, marketing solutions, AdTech, PropTech, FinTech, financial securities, business intelligence, or data & analytics.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, in‑person university or college.
Demonstrated commitment to prior employers.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and quotas in a customer‑experience‑centric environment.
Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory completion of a driving record check.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial real estate and success in building long‑term relationships and business partnerships at a senior/C‑Suite level.
Ability to analyze data, build reporting, and make strategic recommendations based on market data, trends, and performance metrics.
Regular, consistent access to a motor vehicle prior to or by the start date.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations in a high‑growth company.
Self‑starter who can work both independently and within a team environment.
