Sponsorship Sales Representatives
to help secure local and regional partners who make free Sharks basketball possible for the San Diego community.
This is a high-impact role for self-starters who know how to open doors, build trust, and close deals—and who want their work to directly support fans, players, and the growth of professional basketball in San Diego.

Support players, coaches, and game-day staff

What You’ll Do
Identify, pitch, and close sponsorships with local and regional businesses
Sell a range of partnership opportunities (in-arena signage, promotions, digital, community activations, and more)
Build and manage your own pipeline of prospective sponsors
Work closely with Sharks leadership to align partnerships with team values
Represent the Sharks brand professionally in the community
Track outreach, conversations, and deals through provided sales tools
What We’re Looking For
Proven sales, sponsorship, partnerships, or business development experience preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, disciplined, and comfortable working independently
Passion for sports, community, and supporting free access for fans
Ability to confidently pitch value—not just inventory
Local market knowledge is a plus
Uncapped commission structure tied directly to deals closed
Flexible schedule and autonomy
Direct impact on the Sharks’ ability to offer free tickets
Access to games, team events, and Sharks networking opportunities
