About this role

POV Beauty is looking for a Brand Graphic Designer to help bring our visual world to life across organic social, community storytelling, and key brand touchpoints. This role lives at the intersection of brand expression, organic social, and content creation, with a strong focus on platform-native design and community-driven storytelling.

You’ll partner closely with the Art Director, Copy Lead, Social, and Marketing teams to ensure everything we put into the world feels cohesive, culturally fluent, and unmistakably POV. This is a hands‑on role for someone who deeply understands how a brand shows up differently across platforms and knows how to design (and shoot) for that reality.

This is a contract to hire position (starting at 30 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

Organic Social & Community Design

Design assets for organic social across platforms (primarily Instagram and TikTok; some YouTube cover art), including posts, stories, thumbnails, and social‑first graphics

Create and capture iPhone‑native photo and video content for organic social—quick‑turn, lo‑fi, in‑the‑moment brand storytelling

Edit organic content to support the social team, including light video, motion, and platform‑native edits

Translate creative direction into executions that feel scroll‑stopping, culturally relevant, and deeply on‑brand

Build and evolve Figma‑based templates and systems that allow the brand to move quickly without sacrificing quality

Collaborate closely with Social and Community teams to concept visuals that support storytelling, trends, launches, loyalty, and engagement

Brand Launches & Marketing Support

Support brand initiatives including product launches, campaigns, and special moments

Partner closely with the Head of Community on upcoming launches and provide graphic and design support as needed

Design assets across digital touchpoints including email, web, presentations, and brand decks

Help maintain and evolve POV Beauty’s visual identity, ensuring consistency while allowing room for creative exploration

Contribute to mood boards, visual explorations, and early‑stage creative concepts

Be on set for photoshoots and brand moments, owning iPhone capture and behind‑the‑scenes content

Concept ideas alongside the Art Director and Copy Lead, bringing strong visual POV without ego

Work collaboratively with creative, social, and production partners to bring ideas to life

Take feedback thoughtfully and iterate quickly in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment

Requirements

3–6 years of experience in brand design, ideally within beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or agency environments

A deep understanding of organic social and platform‑specific design (Instagram vs. TikTok vs. YouTube)

Strong instincts around community‑first brand building, loyalty, and audience engagement

Sharp eye for typography, color, composition, and trend‑aware design

Shooting and editing iPhone photo/video for social

Experience with Figma (primary tool) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); motion or light video skills are a plus

Culturally plugged‑in, collaborative, and excited about building a modern beauty brand

Confident but not ego‑driven

Additional Notes

Portfolio required with application (brand + organic social work strongly preferred)

Beauty experience is a plus, but not required

Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or agency settings is highly valued

This role is deeply rooted in community building and organic brand expression, not paid media
