This person is a strong journalist who can tell memorable stories and demonstrate strong news judgment in our sports community.
Duties / Responsibilities
Craft compelling narratives: Research, investigate, shoot, write, and edit captivating sports features that resonate deeply with our Tri‑State community.
Drive digital engagement: Produce and publish engaging content for our website, social media channels, and streaming‑only platforms, ensuring our sports stories reach viewers wherever they are. Seize opportunities to anchor streaming‑only sports segments throughout the seasons and contribute your sports expertise to expand your reach and hone your on‑air presence.
Team up for impact: Collaborate with our Assignment Manager, producers, and our award‑winning newsroom to elevate sports coverage and produce unforgettable content.
Qualifications / Requirements
A burning passion for sports storytelling – you see the big picture, whether it's breaking headlines or game‑winning plays.
Proven experience as a Multimedia Journalist; you’re comfortable behind (and in front of) the camera, with strong shooting, editing, and live reporting skills.
