The Chemical Sales Specialist is responsible for growing PHYZIX chemical sales while helping customers achieve cleaner, shinier, more efficient wash results. You’ll partner with operators, troubleshoot in the field, optimize performance, and serve as the go‑to chemistry expert in your territory.
This isn’t a desk‑only sales job — you’ll be in the field, at wash sites, working alongside customers to make their operation better
What You’ll Do
Grow the Business
Prospect and develop new PHYZIX chemical accounts Strengthen and expand existing customer relationships Deliver engaging product presentations and proposals Hit (and aim to exceed) monthly and quarterly sales goals Be the Chemistry Expert
Conduct site visits to support installs, calibrations, and troubleshooting Train operators on proper, safe, and effective product usage Monitor wash performance and fine‑tune chemistry for quality and cost control Collaborate with service and engineering teams to solve challenges Stay Sharp & Organized
Stay current on product lines, competitor offerings, and industry trends Maintain accurate CRM/SAP records Provide weekly updates on pipeline activity, customer needs, and territory insights What Makes You a Great Fit
Sales or customer-facing experience (chemicals, automotive, industrial cleaning a plus) Strong mechanical or technical curiosity — you like understanding how things work Comfortable working around equipment, water, and chemicals (PPE provided) Organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing multiple accounts Willing to travel regularly within your region Able to lift up to 50 lbs. when handling chemical containers Why This Role is Different
