
Overview
Job Summary:
Responsible for driving the development and execution of HR strategy, governance initiatives and team member events across the organization. Leads efforts to design, implement, and monitor HR and talent policies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Partners with leadership to establish and track key HR metrics, analyze effectiveness, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Provides expert support for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, integration planning, and change management. Facilitates ideation and execution of special projects to advance HR innovation and organizational effectiveness. Applies advanced HR expertise to resolve complex challenges and make recommendations on strategic initiatives, frequently handling non-standard assignments.
Essential Functions
Develops and maintains HR and talent policies and procedures, using advanced knowledge to address complex and non-routine issues.
Plans, organizes, and executes team member related events that enhance employee engagement, development, and organizational culture.
Partners with HR leadership and cross-functional teams to develop, update, and communicate HR and talent policies and programs, serving as a subject matter expert and resource for escalated questions.
Monitors external trends and benchmarks to inform talent and organizational strategies and programs, adapting approaches to address evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
Collaborates across teams to define, prioritize, and refine HR metrics and reporting requirements, using considerable discretion and independent initiative to improve processes and workflow efficiencies.
Provides strategic HR support for mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, and risk, leading complex integration projects and resolving escalated issues.
Contributes to and manages special projects focused on talent innovation, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness, regularly adapting to varied assignments and shifting priorities.
Provides guidance and mentorship to HR staff, assisting with the resolution of escalated or complex issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field
Experience Requirement 5+ years of experience in human resources, business administration, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
