Key Responsibilities In this position you will be the Financial Management Specialist for the 72 CPTS/FMAS which directs a wide array of critical financial functions to ensure Team Tinker's mission readiness. Key responsibilities will be to directly support our mission partners by certifying multiple appropriations, guaranteeing fiscal compliance, resolving complex accounting discrepancies, and driving improvements to our financial systems/services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) budgetary and commonly used accounting practices, methods, and techniques and generally accepted accounting principles and standards.
Knowledge of DoD missions, functions, goals, objectives, work processes and sources of funding pertinent to installation base and tenant organizations.
Knowledge of sources of factual information about and related to process of financial analysis, such as that found in accounting reports, payroll records, work reports, or inventory and supply data.
Knowledge of DoD automated data processing concepts and financial management systems capabilities to accomplish accounting tasks.
Skill in recording and classifying financial data.
Ability to gather, assemble, interpret, and analyze data and to report financial management information.
Ability to communicate effectively: to include presenting financial data in written reports, statements, and perform briefings.
