In this position you will serve as a Cyber Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for performing mandated key assessments and evaluations of 75 ABW/SC personnel and processes, on the Directors behalf. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with instructions, technical data, safety directives and policies, internal/external IG audits, and manages Unit wing self-assessment programs and compliance databases (MICT, IGEMS, etc.,).

Requirements:

Obtain & maintain a Security clearance

This position includes information assurance (IA) work as a paramount duty requirement. Per DoD 8570.01-M, the incumbent of this position must achieve the appropriate IA certification within six months of assignment of these duties. A waiver of this six month requirement may be granted per DoD 8570.01-M, C3.2.4.2 or C3.2.4.3. Failure to receive the proper IA certification may result in removal from this position.

The employee may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty

This position may require work to be performed during hours outside the normal duty schedule.

Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

1. Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in the following areas:

- Personnel Evaluations and Equipment Evaluations

- Technical Order Management

- Corrosion Prevention and Control Program

- Electrostatic Discharge Program

- Statement(s) of Work (SOW)

- Performance-Based Work Statement Reviews

- Local Work Card Validation

2. Knowledge of organizational structures and functions across a major center or comparable organization to identify, consider, and present options for the resolution of substantive organizational and program issues that align with unit leadership vision, goals, and objectives.

3. Skill in conducting reviews and analyzing and assessing QA program operations to include identifying deficiencies; measuring compliance, consistency, effectiveness and making recommendations for enhancements and improvements.
