
Senior HR Representative

Mitsubishi Turbocharger and Engine America is looking for a skilled Senior HR Representative to join our team in Franklin, IN.
The Senior Human Resources Representative will work directly with the HR Director to coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, employee relations, benefits, training, and other employee services for the Turbocharger division by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Excellent internal customer service providing a platform for a positive employee relations culture, actively managing employee complaints, and resolving performance issues proactively, minimizing any risk.
Work with Managers to plan and manage staffing and recruiting.
Recruitment and management of temporary employees with staffing agencies requested by relevant departments.
New employee onboarding and training.
Manage training and development for the Turbocharger Division needs.
Assist with implementing policies, procedures, and tracking.
Support annual performance reviews.
Conduct exit interviews.
Conduct annual employee survey and prepare statistics.
Coordinate employee safety, welfare, and wellness.
Properly track and submit time sheets and invoices related to temporary staffing.
Track and provide needed statistical reports to HR Director and VP.
Assist with FMLA for Franklin facility.
Maintain knowledge and comply with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions.
Maintain and update documents as needed for audits as they arise.
Report and track injuries.
Report production increases to payroll.
Support HR Director with HR department Action Plan.
Manage Turbo turnover reporting and tracking.
Present at All Employee Meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by MTEA Management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing industry preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
Ability to work with limited supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
Core knowledge of and ability to collaborate with all areas within HR such as talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations and benefits.
Strong leadership ability and must be able to make difficult decisions when necessary.
Organizing and planning skills, problem analysis and problem‑solving skills, judgment skills, communication skills and coaching skills.
Strong Microsoft Office Skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Flexible work schedule for shift coverage.
Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Must be able to occasionally move up to 40 pounds.
Ability to sit throughout the workday.
