
Staff Accountant-Commercial Real Estate

Manage property tax records, payments, and assessed value tracking
Approve and initiate wire transfers
Review leases for CAM provisions and document in Yardi and Excel
Handle retail/percentage rent calculations
Prepare CAM reconciliations and coordinate tenant communications
Process internal management fee payments
Ensure compliance with local/state agencies for each entity
Generate journal entries and perform monthly bank reconciliations
Assist with budgeting for taxes, insurance, and licenses
Review balance sheet accounts (AR, AP, prepaid expenses, security deposits)
Support property acquisitions and onboarding
Participate in policy development and software implementation
Provide backup for AP and AR staff
Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
Experience with Yardi Voyager required
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in commercial property management
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and 10-key by touch
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interpret legal documents such as leases and agreements
